MY 2020 VOTE -> THE GREEN PARTY

I'm in a deep blue state.

I choose @HowieHawkins and @AngelaNWalker.

I respect leftists & progressives, particularly in swing states, who have decided to strategically vote for Biden.

Either way, we must #vote AGAINST Trump and his goons.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN

The past few years have been a very public soul-searching process for me. I've become radicalized by the realities around me and I've returned to my anti-establishment roots from the Bush era. The system is deeply corrupt. I will not uphold it one more day.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN (cont.)

I've given 20 years of my life to fighting the GOP. I quit the Democratic Party this year because the leadership has enabled & empowered Trump. Just like they coddled war criminal Bush. Schumer fast-tracked Trump's judges. Pelosi funded his abuses.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN (cont.)

The Democratic Party trashed the #MeToo movement without hesitation. They've fought #MedicareForAll more vigorously than #AmyConeyBarrett. They support #fracking. Bail out billionaires. Fund border torture camps. And favor fascists over the left.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN (cont.)

I'm in my 50s now and more of my life is behind me than ahead of me. What time I have remaining I'll devote to tearing down the #duopoly and building a GOOD world, not just a marginally less awful one. That's my right as a citizen and a human being.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN (cont.)

My @GreenPartyUS vote is for my children's future. And for the children in cages. The cages that were built by the Obama administration and used by Trump to lock up kidnapped kids. AND NO ONE WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR THAT CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN (cont.)

I'm Lebanese-American. I barely survived a bloody civil war. I have deep scars from that. I've worked as a farmer, a bartender, a waiter, a musician. I've struggled, I've failed, and I've succeeded. I've seen enough to know the system is CORRUPT.
WHY I'M VOTING GREEN (cont.)

The establishment does not give a shit about oppressed and marginalized people. They are seen as fodder. Trump is a creature of an immoral system. He is part of it, not some aberration. Until we replace the system, injustice will continue unabated.
