he said this in 2011, five years before he took office. but we aren’t gonna talk about this are we? cuz people can change, right? y’all can focus on obama/biden sayin they were against it but in the end THEY were the ones to legalize it federally...just sayin :)

also, despite their original views regarding same sex marriage, obama/biden only EXPANDED rights for my community. what has trump done? elect three judges to the Supreme Court that are either openly against gay marriage or won’t state how they would rule over lgbtq issues.

like this is why we are scared lmao. there is so much uncertainty ab where our rights will stand in the future and with ACB on the court now, that fear has only heightened given that she stopped answering questions when she was asked if obergefell v. hodges was decided correctly.

and for y’all that don’t know what that ruling is, it was the supreme court ruling that gives same-sex couples the right to marry in all fifty states. and it was a 5-4 vote, so it literally almost didn’t happen. also, all four votes against were from conservative judges.

so you can’t tell me that conservatives are coming around to gay marriage cuz five years ago that was not the case. and five years later it still looks as if that’s not the case based off of the composition of the highest court in the judicial system.

so if you TRULY believe that trump has done NOTHING to potentially harm lgbtq+ rights then y’all clearly are not doin the research that you claim to be doin. none of what I’ve showed is “fake news”, nothing in this thread is a mystery. please vote blue this nov. #BidenHarris2020
