South Australian doctors have traditionally been among the least likely to prescribe #medicinalcannabis.

Even more difficult to access a prescribing GP in the regions.

. @TGAgovau Health Products Regulation Group deputy secretary John Skerritt said official records showed about 44,000 Australians had medical cannabis prescriptions. More than 6000 medical cannabis prescriptions were issued in Australia in September alone.

That number should be much higher. When will the recommendations of the recent Senate Inquiry be Implemented? Both the health & economic benefits are immense.
