I was asked about my thoughts on my time in accessibility the last few years. Here are a few: You can't design, develop, test your into an accessible product alone. You can't spend time being performative and hyping up inspo porn. Can't say you champion #A11y but not speak 1/4
and demand that companies hire disabled folks in both accessibility and non-accessibility roles. Can't say accessibility is for everyone if you only make room for the same people and those you cool with. That you have to understand that accessibility and access does not 2/4
and will not look the same across socioeconomic, region, race, gender lines. That digital accessibility is a civil and human right because technology and the internet is ingrained in our society. Finally at end of the day this is about humans. 3/4
Humans that got to live and want to survive in this world. That's me, that's you, That's them.

I had time today. Social media rants can be slightly more effective that screaming and throwing a chair. 4/4
