More detailed info for Texas voters, from a Dallas County poll worker (me)...

While a photo ID is the most common form of ID that is presented to confirm your identity & current address, there are a number of acceptable forms of identification grouped into List A and List B. 1/
List A are the acceptable forms of photo ID, which include

- Texas driver's license
- Texas election ID certificate
- Texas personal ID card
- Texas handgun license
- US military ID with photo
- US citizenship certificate with photograph
- US passport

2/
Most forms of List A photo ID need to be current. The exception is the US citizenship certificate w photo.

Anyone (including poll clerks or judges) who tells you that you must present a driver's license in order to vote is either grossly misinformed or lying outright. 3/
On to List B... these are forms of ID that do NOT have a photo, but are also acceptable.

- certified birth certificate, or a legible copy
- valid voter registration certificate
- current utility bill, govt check, bank statement/paycheck, or govt document w your name & addy 4/
Note: the last group of List B forms of ID (utility bills, banki statements, etc) must be current, i.e. not more than 2 months old. 5/
Present any of the above forms of ID from either List A or List B and you will be given a "standard" ballot.
