POSITIVITY

Nearing that 7%... At this rate, we'll top it on 7-day average by end of week

Today: 6.77%

(at start of October we were still in the 3.4% range)
CASES

Now averaging (on 7 day) more than 1400 a day

(before this most latest wave, we hadn't seen more than half of that)
DEATHS

It's important to note that, as of now, we are NOT seeing a sustained increase in deaths in Colorado.

We continue to see anywhere from 2-5 a day. Which we've seen since the start of July.
what's it all mean?

we're still not in sight of any crest unfortunately.

after one day blip, hospitalizations went up once again.

cases are VERY high (partially the result of increased testing)

and positivity continues to hover just south of 7% (for weekly average)
bottom line

What happened in Denver today is likely to be just the beginning. A number of other counties are having the kinds of problems that will warrant additional review from CDPHE

Like I say a lot, this ain't over.

As always... take care.

And be safe
one more thing.

I see a lot of people using these threads to voice some anger about all sorts of things.

I'm not going to patrol it. But I would say there's a time to be direct. And there's a time to realize we're all a little stressed out.

We're all feeling this. Together.
