It's been quite different playing story-driven games after finishing TLOU2. If you're a story-driven game reading this tweet, I'm sorry, you're miles behind. Nothing has gripped me quite the same way. Nothing has fucked me up like the epilogue did.

Characters grow when they do things out of character. Certain parts I would've written differently, but let's not pretend I know how to write anything worth writing. Me getting mad at the TV screen is just proof of how strong the story is.

The Last of Us 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. Even if you hate certain aspects of it, you'd be a fool not to appreciate it. It's a technical marvel, reaching such great heights in everything from audio to animations, from broader strokes to tiny details.
