so we in west philly are hunkering down for another round of protests, marches, and some chaos that goes with it. they shut down cvs to prevent another loot & the neighborhood fb group is doing a wonderful thread of med sharing and grocery delivery and it warms my heart

the west philly community takes care of itself so don’t let anyone tell you that the people are “shooting themselves in the foot.” we will stop protesting when the cops stop murdering Black people

A five minute walk away from the 1985 MOVE bombing, where police dropped C4 on those Black children and radical Black activists, #WalterWallaceJr was murdered by cops in 2020. You have to understand that to understand ANY of the anger and pain happening in west philly right now
