Due to the reinstatement of the mask mandate and the rise in COVID-19 cases, I have decided to cancel our in-person election night event. I want to thank Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett for his leadership but the lack of leadership from the state level tremendously hurts us.

My opponent, Bill Powers, his Republican supermajority, and Governor Bill Lee have failed to lead Tennessee through this pandemic. Tennesseans need help. Our businesses are struggling to keep their doors open. #RonnieForSenate

Our schools are having to change their schedule from in-person classes to online classes causing confusion and putting people in difficult situations with childcare or having to teach their children at home. #RonnieForSenate

Tennesseans deserve leaders who lead by example. Why won't Bill Powers wear a mask when talking to voters outside of the Montgomery County Election Commission? #RonnieForSenate
