Stepped out to buy something this evening
And a vigil is being held at the gate of my street for the victims of the #LekkiMassacre

Part that blew my mind? it was being held by "agberos"

Street boys.
They lit about 15 candles in the middle of an old tire and were singing songs while intermittently cursing whoever is responsible for ordering the soldiers to open fire.

I stood with them and mahn...I can't articulate how I felt.
All the videos we post
All the tweets

They have seen all of it. They have heard what the protests are about and its SINKING IN.
THEY ARE BEGINNING TO REALISE WHO THE EVIL ONES ARE
So they are there, singing and praying for the souls of the lost to be at peace.
And i stood in a corner and i cried. A cathartic release for all the pent up emotions I've felt since last week Tuesday
Now I do not feel I haven't done enough. All the information we have struggled to put out is working.

We must never stop. We cannot. The truth is one of the few things we can use EFFECTIVELY
The govt can fight all it wants. Our truth will prevail
So please, even if it is one tweet
One retweet of a picture or a video
One person you convince that our fight is the way
Never stop talking about #EndSARS and how a couple of brave souls stood and died singing our anthem
We must not stop till Nigeria gets better. Whatever it takes.
Even if all we can do is educate the masses on what they deserve. On what is hidden. On what they can do to ensure a better life for them and their children.
It all starts with #EndSARS
We will never forget.
You won't die in vain.
#LekkiMassacre #EndSARS
