/ A SHORT THREAD BY 🔶WD🔶\\
In my last thread, I talked about why “follow your passion” is terrible advice.👇

So if not “follow your passion”, then what?

READ THIS THREAD AND YOU’LL KNOW.👇
First of all, I want you to think about what defines a good job?

🔶If your answer is money, you need to read the rest of this thread.

🔶And if you’re answer is not money, you need to read this thread more precisely.
A desirable job:

🔶is creative
🔶allows a large impact on the world
🔶gives you control over your work and life
SUPPLY and DEMAND say that you need to offer:

RARE AND VALUABLE SKILLS in return for a desirable job.
So, you need to focus on gaining rare and valuable skills.

But how to do it?

How can you be a successful person with unique skills and a good career?
These are the steps:

🔶Decide the market you want to be in.
🔶Know the market.
🔶Define “GOOD” (How good you want to be?)
🔶Gain skills.
🔶Be patient.
Every step presents an important value.

But the main focus here is to practice so hard and persistent, so you be the first person that pops up when someone thinks of a particular skill.

This is the way you beat the passion illusion:

🔶Being so good that nobody can ignore you
🔶Is this helping you?
