Even going to far as to ask the responsible party (or parties) in to the college administration for disciplinary action.

Obviously, as a 501c3 Tax Exempt organization, the tax code is pretty clear about the College not engaging in campaigning against a political candidate. 2/
Going to far as to threaten the responsible party (or parties) with disciplinary action.

Obviously, as a 501c3 Tax Exempt organization, the @IRStaxpros tax code is pretty clear about the College not engaging in campaigning against a political candidate. 3/10
Not to mention the impediment to free speech on campus (something that is right up @TheFIREorg's alley) where one group of students representing one political ideology may post stickers and posters on college property but another may not. 4/10
But apparently threatening a student with disciplinary action and labelling them as a white supremacists (without even knowing whom was responsible) still doesn't go far enough to ensuring students there are protected from hearing both sides in this election. 5/10
No, now @HopeCollege, under the watchful eye of @presidentscogin, is encouraging students to report "incidents of disrespect, microaggression, or hostile acts" related to the election. 6/10
The college has even prepared a helpful form for reporting these acts, including the severity of the microaggression, and the names of the individual or individuals who dared to express a different (or difficult) political opinion. 7/10
So in addition to this being some next-level Stasi behavior, this undoubtedly violates the First Amendment rights of the students at @HopeCollege, if they can be subject to disciplinary action for exercising their freedom of speech. (Again, right up @TheFIREorg's alley). 8/10
This close to the election, this dampening of free political speech, can also be seen as a contribution in-kind to one political party over another, in violation if the 501c3 code -- specifically harming @realDonaldTrump, @JohnJamesMI and @billhuizenga to name a few 9/10
So just something to be aware of when people talk about election interference. It comes in all shapes and sizes, and the effect is a chilling effect on free speech that may even be in violation of the law.

Something for @BetsyDeVosED to look into, next term. 10/10
So Twitter ate the first post on this thread which basically was that @HopeCollege had called out a student for posting a Trump sticker on campus property in a place where other political signage was posted. Then called them a white supremacist. 1/10
