My god BBC. “The extraordinary story of paralympic and Olympic sprinter” who “suddenly found himself at the centre of a murder investigation.”

Extraordinary? Found himself? INSPIRATIONAL?! No way to talk about a convicted murderer. Talk about minimising the murder of women.
Who wrote that press release, and what were they on?
Press release still up, only amendment appears to be

“We have removed the trail for The Trials of Oscar Pistorius that was posted earlier today.”

Nowhere does it mention his conviction for Reeva Steenkamp’s murder

@bbcpress please sort this out ASAP.

More awful quotes from @bbcpress PR

“According to Pistorius, the event was a tragic accident, but his troubled past and questionable testimony cast doubt on his innocence”

“My hope is that the film gives audiences additional context and layers to a story they think they know”
His troubled past and questionable testimony are not what “casts doubt on his innocence”

HE WAS CONVICTED OF THE MURDER OF REEVA STEENKAMP. IN A COURT OF LAW.
Missed fact that yesterday eve @bbcpress quietly removed the “suddenly found himself at the centre of a murder investigation” with no correction, apology or explanation.

Rest of it still there & doesn’t mention Pistorius’s murder conviction once. ONCE.

These are the dangerous men you enable & encourage @bbcpress @bbctwo by glamourising men who murder women as “inspirational”
