Me: “My mom is married to my dad, and she’s not just his wife. She is her own individual. So, again, what lifestyle are you condemning?”

The answer to my own question: They’re condemning queer humanity. 2/
Religious hierarchies have dehumanized so many peoples and identities instead of being a place that replicates the love of the Good Samaritan—no questions asked—the love of Christ towards the Samaritan woman, the love of Christ to Peter who denied Him. 3/
Where is our radical love? The one that we are commanded to abide by in every decision? Where is our discipline to understand difference, that love does not confine but liberates? Where is our love to humanize the oppressed?
