Christian Coleman's two-year ban makes this resonate more:

Of the 50 fastest men's 100m sprint times ever, only 15 have been run by an athlete NOT banned for drugs, or banned for missed tests, or accused of doping.

All 15 were by Usain Bolt.
Apparently @__coleman is currently on a blocking spree of journalists who are simply reporting his two-year ban.
I've tweeted about this before, but seven years ago I had the privilege (yes, really) of spending hours one-on-one with arguably the most notorious cheat in the history of the Olympic Games, Ben Johnson.

(Sort of thread, 1/n)
Ben Johnson was the 1988 Olympic 100m champion at a time when he *knew* that the majority of his rivals, including Carl Lewis, were also up to their eyeballs in performance-enhancing drugs. But he tested positive and became the bogeyman. 2/n
He wasn't in the best of mental health to begin with, thus becoming the pariah not only in your sport but in society was ... massively damaging. I don't condone BJ's cheating. Nor does he. He just wanted to level playing field of retribution. 3/n
Upshot: Ben Johnson became a frail cheat with a freakshow life. And his peers were largely left undamaged. When I met him 25 years after these events I was profoundly touched by his articulation of his story. 4/n
Anyway. Ben Johnson's life story, and his story of going from Olympic 100m champion to the BIGGEST DRUG CHEAT IN GLOBAL SPORT *EVER* is a bit more nuanced. My piece from 2013, FWIW.

5/5 and I'll STFU now.
