Applications for the CRB task force are below. This task force would shape what the police oversight body will look like here in Richmond. Folks like Jewel G. & Kimberly Y. were discussed but not ultimately chosen.

Those who were: Fontaine, Gerner, Hinson, Dixon, Coston, Miller

Yall. Out of the 1/3 chosen are ex law enforcement, Hinson & Dixon.

Ordinance doesnt specify no current/ former LEO but for the final body created, it WILL apply thanks to SB5035/HB5055 that @richmondvaTAP also helped to push.

How the task force NOT gonna model the board tho?

So how do I feel?

I watched the chair & vice chair of the pub safety committee put forth 2 former law enforcement candidates that also belong to the Crusades who just endorsed Kim Gray for MAYOR.

So, I'm disturbed by the political gymnastics happening to escape transparency.

So the FULL the council is set to meet 11/9 to vote.

WE STILL HAVE TIME to ensure this doesn't turn into another Richmond cop board.

Did i mention, we are supposed to be asking people from the most policed area of the city to sit on a board with ex-LEOs?
