They genuinely have no ideas beyond this because they've not given it any thought.
They have been psychologically beaten down so much, they have been convinced Scots, and ScotParl etc. are utterly weak and powerless with little ability unless totally isolationist; which sounds rather like the 'abusive relationship' metaphor
Or it's taboo, because it exposes the wasted opportunities of the past decade, and the fragile umbrella of single issue politics that quickly fragments when that one umbrella is lifted.
And that they have no 'plan c' , what if they win an election but then lost any referendum, which I actually think is a likely outcome, there's just no policies or plan for that and they will spit the dummy?
