Another thing being ignored when just looking at "Covid Vs everything else" is the everything else category. How can we be sure these are not deaths catching up from last lockdown, being caused by this one (yes, it is essentially lockdown for the country in all but name)
because hospitals are yet again cancelling appointments and surgeries because of the dreaded second wave we have been in for 2 months allegedly but with no real evidence it has been happening.
As well as this, it is winter. More old and ill people die in winter, this is not new. Deaths are tragic for families and friends, but sadly when running a country, they must become statistics. This fact seems to have escaped those running the country however.
