At the start of Neymar’s professional career he started at Santos and he was there for 4 seasons. In those four seasons he had 201 G/A in only 224 games. Winning 3 trophies.

In 2013 Neymar moved to Barcelona for £48.6m at 21 years of age and this is pretty much where he became recognised. In his first season for Barca he had 30 G/A in 41 games. He also made his debut in the ucl vs Ajax scoring 1 goal. In this first season with Barca he won 1 trophy.

Now we get to summer 2013 where it’s the confederations cup. Neymar did great in this cup scoring 4 goals and one of them in the final vs Spain. As well as getting a goal in the final he got man of the match too. And to top it of he also got the golden ball winner.

The 2014/15 season is probably neymar’s best season for Barca getting 49 G/A in 51 games. He also achieved 4 trophies this season one of them the champions league. In the champions league he scored 10 goals out of Barca’s 21 in the competition which got him the most goals in ucl.

The 2014 World Cup had great performances from Neymar. In the competition he got 4 goals and 1 assist in 5 games which was the same amount as Messi and more than Ronaldo. He also won possession the most times in the attacking third (six) of all players.

The 2015/16 season was another great campaign. Neymar scored 31 goals and 25 assists in only 49 games. He also came 3rd for the ballon d’or with Ronaldo 2nd and Messi 1st. He won 3 trophies and got Brazil Olympic team medal.

16/17 season included 46 G/A in 45 games. Also one trophy but... this was Neymar’s last season at Barcelona.

In the summer of 2017 Neymar had a record breaking move to PSG for €222m which made him the most expensive player in the world. In his first season he showed his class and got 44 G/A in 30 games and winning the french treble.

The 18/19 season Neymar carried on being the best by getting 36 G/A in 28 games this is with a foot injury he sustained meaning he missed 18 games. And as per he won trophies (2)

The 19/20 season saw Neymar get 31 G/A in 27 games and showed he had 5 star skills as usual. Also of course he won trophies (4).

With 64 goals in 103 matches for Brazil since debuting at age 18 Neymar is the second highest goalscorer for his Brazil trailing Pelé.

In Neymar’s professional career he’s played for 3 clubs Santos, Barca and currently PSG. He’s had 410 appearances scoring 247 and assisting 156. Neymar has also won 23 trophies in his professional career. In his career he has played in the LW position but can also play as ST.
