The problem these elite institutions run into is that few of the women with the talent have any interest. My observation is that, holding intelligence equal, women are just more practical and better at life than man. They won't work as much for honor or glory or prestige. https://twitter.com/PereGrimmer/status/1321113368007217154
A really important dynamic—how feminism 4.0 boils down to women enjoying the sweet parts of being a man (rights), while eschewing all of the bitter parts (duty).

That is also my observation. Most formal "work" is actually about social loafing while creating a good enough excuse that you're doing something. All of the real "work" is done by a few aspies and naifs and sages, & often using Girardian status dynamics. https://twitter.com/0x49fa98/status/1321124622671224832?s=20
Consider that within a corp, and particularly as jobs get more complex, the performance of any given necessary task has only an elliptical relation to any reward or punishment that a Holmesian Bad Man would register. The tie that yokes workers to their tasks: status anxiety.
From these observations, it is a simple project to enunciate a research program that ties together economics work on contracting theory & the nature of the firm, with empirical IO theory that incorporates the FEP/ PCT/control system view of anxiety & cultAnth view of status.
(I leave filling this out as an exercise to the reader.)
*** without getting too deep into a rabbit hole here, as these topics touch and concern a dangerous cogitation compulsion of mine, I would propose that the dynamic of putting naive people who do not behave as Homo Economicus in decision theory games and then pulping the juice
... out of them until they are experienced enough to not work for at least market wage and are eager to punk the new batch of people who aren't yet experienced and will soon be served up bright eyed and bushy-tailed from an education archipelago that takes toddlers and for years
conditions them to identify with their self-worth how well they rank on contests of obedience to arbitrary authority against age-matched rivals (no concept of friendship possible)—I'd suggest it's not stable. We're running out of suckers. Look at the end of Office Space.
