mental health challenges and his father even asked if they could use their taser instead, but they chose to take out their guns on someone who clearly was not a threat to them. they pulled out their guns because they wanted to and because they’ve been trained to. the toughest +

part was seeing wallace’s mother chase after him trying to ease the situation. the modern day lynchings are happening far too often, i hold the weight of my Black brothers and sisters who’s lives are lost, the sadness of the grieving parents, the fear i have for myself as a +

queer Black woman, and the worry for every single Black life across the world. im sending love and praying over all my people. may our ancestors guide us through these hardships and may we be the generation that ends the fight so our children can live +

freely without generational fear.
