One thing I learned while having a daughter with autism is teaching the way SHE learns instead of expecting her to learn the way I teach.

Not only is my daughter talking now, but she’s also counting and saying her alphabet backwards and knows a little Spanish. She’s saying all of her colors and imitates every animal sound.

Parents please don’t give up on your children’s education no matter how difficult it may be. They’re still learning and they’re still catching on. The results will come when they’re ready.

Surround yourself with people who support you and not judge your parenting or your kids. People who accept your family. I’m so grateful for my friends and sisters man. God is so amazing.

It’s literally only God that my daughter is improving her communication.
