What can I say about this legend that hasn't already been said over the last day? Some of you may know that Joey really was like family to us. We were so fortunate the that entire Moss family put their trust in us and allowed us the blessing of getting to know Joey so well /1
When training camp would start Joey would stay with us, sometimes for more than a month. As I look back now, I can honestly say that even though we didn't realize it at the time, he taught us so much. He helped us become better people because he was one of the best you'll meet /2
He was the sweetest, funniest, caring, hardest working person I've ever known. He taught us patience, acceptance, inclusion all while doing so without us knowing. We never saw him as "different", we saw him as family. He never had a bad day and it showed in his smile /3
