I've been a little quiet around here. We have been hard at work @DIAL_community though and we've been up to some good things! I'm going to try and share some of them this week, starting today with our work on #digitaltransformation and a new publication that will drop later on!
First off, our Listening Study, out earlier this month, in partnership with @RealSmartAfrica - we interviewed representatives of 10 African governments to understand barriers to #wholeofgovernment #digitaltransformation, e.g. funding, skills, coordination. https://twitter.com/DIAL_community/status/1314257503287418880?s=20
In September, we hosted a Mainstage Panel and Strategic Dialogue at the #Concordia20 Annual Summit, and discussed #digitaltransformation opportunities and barriers with African leaders, international organizations and donors, and technology providers: https://digitalimpactalliance.org/concordia-report-pushing-global-actors-to-embrace-a-national-digital-transformation-agenda/

And just yesterday we signed an agreement with @ITU, @DIAL_community, @BMZ_Bund & @MFAestonia to develop a “Reference #DigitalGovernment #SDG Platform” that will make it easier for governments to deliver services with people-centered digital solutions https://twitter.com/EconMinEstonia/status/1321091145926103043

We're urging leaders to : 1. put national digital agendas first 2. resource and encourage #digitaltransformation work to involve the whole of society 3. respect and support regional frameworks and platforms, and 4 align and coordinate funding. Don't be part of the problem!
