My uncle had two main drivers, Ali and Bashir. They both built houses. One in Badagry and the other in Otta. All from their savings.

I was 30 and I had no house of my own. They both gave me advice. Save!

Life is easy. Why do we make it so hard? | Jandai
I was earning a lot more than both of them but never considered Badagry or Otta as options. I was looking up to people in Banana island. Leaving Lagos was the best thing to ever happen to me. I got the same thing I wanted and more for less in Accra. I didn't have to sell my soul.
Our driver in Lome is also retiring this year and we are helping him to complete his house. It is his own house and he will not be worrying about rent in retirement. He was the one who inspired this my farming buzz here. Living simply is a privilege.
