The average American is so politically uninformed. All these “do something Democrats!” statuses yesterday were so depressing.

People really send Dems into the lions den unarmed and then blame them for not winning an unwinnable situation.

Soon as you ask “What should they do?”
They never have any substantial answer. It’s always some shit Dems have done before and something that still wouldn’t stop the GOP. We are a dumb populace who think all of this is going to stop without us coming together and voting republicans out of office.
That’s why people are bringing up the folks who abstained or voted third party. Because it’s a math problem not a will power problem. But too many Americans think all this happens because politicians “want” it to. And not from having the majority in key areas.
There are so many platitudes and general statements. But then when you’re like “okay what specifically should they do?”
It’s clear they don’t know. It’s like Dems are the mother in a household with a deadbeat dad. We expect them to do everything with no support. Then blame them.
People go “why can’t Dems do what republicans do back to them?”

But they still don’t realize republicans never did anything without the NUMBERS to do it. It’s a math problem. Not a will power problem.

The house is proof of this. They regularly pass dem legislation since 2018.
They can only do this because the blue wave of 2018 gave them the numbers to do so. But it all stalls out at the senate because Dems don’t have the numbers there. It’s math. And math starts at the voting booth. Everything else is us avoiding that truth.
Either we all failed Civics class or Civics class failed us.
