I just saw this post and let me tell you, this is as bad as advice can get.

It’s also timely for me. My training has been going really well but the last few days I’ve felt sluggish. Tried to push through but the body needs what it needs.

So here begins my deload week.
For those not familiar with the term, a deload week is where you workout at a decreased intensity and volume to that you’re usually accustomed to.

Deloading

1. Prepares the body for the increased demand of the next phase.

2. Helps avoid risks associated with overtraining.
Get you great coaches. No good trainer or coach will encourage you to push through when your body is showing signs of fatigue.

Shout out to everyone involved in this process ( @I_RunItAll is the only one with a twitter) who grabble up my shirt collar and tell me “sit boo boo”.
