Some more information about the work of the Growing Older, Planning Ahead project http://wels.open.ac.uk/research/growing-older-planning-ahead/work-packages

Firstly we will look at what has already been written about older people with learning disabilities and behaviour that services find challenging, and their family carers
@liz_tilley24 is leading up this work package. She and her colleagues are @JitkaVseteckova Mary Larkin and Joanne Jordan will do two literature reviews to gather this information.
The first literature review will look at what is written about older people with learning disabilities and behaviour that services find challenging

The second will look at older family carers of this group
Each of the literature reviews will look for articles and reports that focus on the following things:

* people's physical and mental health
* people's social care needs
* services that can help people
* information and resources that can help people
Once all the information has been found and understood the team will write a report, publish articles about their findings, and write Easy Read summaries about what they found
These are the people working on this package of work and where to find them: @liz_tilley24 @JitkaVseteckova Mary and Joanne all work for the Open University Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies @OU_WELS
We'll feature another work package on another day, but please share this thread to help us get the word out about the Growing Older, Planning Ahead project.
