Ask yourself why can’t you spend the voucher in Aldi or Lidl’s? Waitrose and M&S??? Good Lord who comes up with this stuff? Clearly not ppl who’ve ever had to survive on nothing and make 1+1 = 20

Also giving ppl £90 in one go for the entire 6 weeks holiday. What this means is one fabulous shopping week and 5 that are just as hard as usual. Food has a shelf life not everyone has big freezers

The government are accusing poor people of having budgeting issues but are then encouraging them to shop in Waitrose and M&S while living on the breadline. Drop me right out

You’d have to be a budgeting genius to make this set up work well for you. Buy £90 worth of tins and pasta/rice in Asda would be my suggestion because you can’t get change from the voucher and it must be spent all at once. Keep well away from Waitrose & MS

Why not put £15 in these peoples benefit money each week so they can shop where they like because you can buy literally anything with the voucher in these shops except alcohol. No one checks you are spending wisely for the record if that’s what ppl think is going on
