I come across a lot of men diminishing @PattyHajdu online by mocking her for having been a graphic artist. (The same people who mock Trudeau for being a teacher and Freeland a journalist).

But Hadju actually pulled herself up and out through hard work and determination. 👇👇
Due to a tumultuous home life, @PattyHajdu ended up living on her own at age 16. After graduating from high school, she got a job in Thunder Bay through an employment-insurance initiative, at a non-profit adult-literacy group, where she trained in graphic design.
@PattyHajdu then attended Lakehead University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. In 2015, she received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria.
@PattyHajdu worked in the field of harm prevention, homelessness, including 9 yrs as the head of the drug awareness committee of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Prior to her election in 2015 she was the ED at Shelter House, the city's largest homeless shelter.
I know why *some* men like to diminish women by sniping at their qualifications but let’s not tolerate it any longer.

What qualifies a man to be a politician or cabinet member? Just being a man?

Food for thought. 🤔
