good morning can today be the day that twt learns an issue can be multifaceted
I’ve said this a hundred times but there are distinct differences between comfort, projection and interpretation, and rolling them all up into one/not even seeing that difference is gonna be a bad foundation for trying to speak on the issue
it plays into the idea that we’re all some kind of deviant delusionals 
and imo if you feel strongly enough about the issue to make threads addressing how people should be behaving, u have to be receptive to actually understanding what’s going on and what is/isn’t happening

this applies to our own comm too! not every ‘you shouldn’t say that’ thread comes from cishets and it’s grossly unfair and hypocritical of us to make that assumption. the more we avoid making a discussion of this the more infighting it causes bc we’re at crossed purposes
if you look at the responses on any ‘don’t assume their sexuality’ posts, even if they’re all disagreeing with op there are generally the same divisions of opinion. assuming isn’t an act in itself, there’s always a root to it& that’s what p much all of these lectures misses
