I set up a "discount code" content page for one of my WordPress stores.
The primary goal is to kick out all the third-party sites which snacked top ranks for specific keyword combinations.

Of course, our secondary goal is to prevent customers from grabbing third-party coupon codes to reduce the amount in their cart and increase our profitability.

As you might know, a lot of those "coupon sites" are very spammy and even list expired discount codes. Their only goal is to generate referrals to your e-commerce sites and earn money, even when providing invalid discount codes...

Personally, I don't like those coupon sites because they bring no added value for the site visitor. We also ban and exclude those URLs from our affiliate programs.

Anyway, with our content pages, we tried to cover most of the primary keywords and added them to our rank tracker tool.
I manually submitted the pages to Google and now let's see how they rank in long-term
