I voted to #Leave the EU. I believed we could leave the political system but remain fully within the economic one. As was promised by the @LeaveEUOfficial campaign. This is clearly now a foolish and rather embarrassing thing to have believed. #RemainerNow #RemainersWereRight
Whether through design or incompetence, the promise of remaining in the Single Market while distancing ourselves from political involvement was false. I believed, despite many voices telling me otherwise, that #FoM would remain, we would become like Norway but without the costs.
Again this turned out to be a lie. Today I see so many #Brexiters saying they voted for #NodealBrexit, this is a lie. No one voted for that. No one but the insane or those who will profit from it anyway. I’m deeply sorry for my vote, I would take it back if I could. I’m Sorry.
I left twitter before the vote, it was never something I engaged in fully anyway. I can see now that it’s become a platform where you can get a myriad of views and despite the conspiracy nonsense, I hope to learn more and how to do more to change what #brexit has done to the U.K.
