I’ll make a separate thread one last time on this #EndAnglophoneCrisis https://twitter.com/lfbiaka/status/1320975676816711680
I am sure, extremely sure that at this point most people want to put an end to this crisis. People have suffered long enough. Nobody wants to pick a side anymore between the art or amba! Both sides have committed crimes in this crisis! #EndAnglophoneCrisis
But by no means should calling for an end to a war be taken as accepting to be marginalised, disrespected, disregarded. These people who come here to question an anglophone problem provoke us! #EndAnglophoneCrisis
These people who come here to try to all lives matter the anglophone crisis provoke us! And they have been doing so since we started peacefully marching in 2016! #EndAnglophoneCrisis
These people who come here to call for one side to drop weapons or accuse one side of extra judicial killings and justify the actions of the other side dismiss our pain and provoke us #EndAnglophoneCrisis
The number of separatist fighters and believers is too significant for you to keep dismissing them with your arrogance and insults. You are fuelling them and it’s the population that suffers #EndAnglophoneCrisis
So we will not sit here and allow anybody on any side to keep chatting rubbish. I see the same provocation I saw since 2016 and I see how extremists have used that to justify their actions so far. #EndAnglophoneCrisis
There is problem of bad governance in Cameroon. If it’s paining you speak up! But on top of bad governance anglophones suffer a problem of a threat to identity. That is why it will be hard to end this crisis without addressing that problem #EndAnglophoneCrisis
If you do not start to see Cameroon as you know it as the Union of two separate STATES not regions not your long lost brothers from an imaginary German map set up by Otto Von Bismarck in 1884, you will only reduce the flame not QUENCH IT! #EndAnglophoneCrisis
We may not be able to go back to 1961 but we can go to therapy like every marriage, we can review the commitments that we took in 1961. And we can take concrete action. But insisting that there is no problem is the provocation that got us here #EndAnglophoneCrisis
