EDOUARD MENDY - GK'S MAY NOT BE ABLE TO WIN GAMES BUT THEY CAN CERTAINLY SAVE THEM

Back to back clean sheets have been a rare occasion for Chelsea and Mendy has played an instrumental part in ensuring this against Sevilla & Man United.

Let's recap some of the top saves...

Sevilla - Save 1

This was a top-class reflex save. A stock standard delivery from Sevilla but the attacking header took a deflection from Zouma that was goal bound.

There's a reason why Ziyech calls Mendy, panther!! Because he's got quick reflexes.

Sevilla - Save 2

It can always get tricky late on in the game as the players tire out. It's crucial if the attackers penetrate the defense that the GK is super sharp.

Man United - Save 1

This save is not getting enough coverage on social media. Rashford is so quick to get into an excellent position and that shot was drilled in low to Mendy's left.

This was a massive save to keep the game at 0-0 at half time.

Man United - Save 2

Mata's known for those snapshots outside of the box. He hits them first time with a lot of curl and zip into them.

Yet another silky save to keep Chelsea in the game!

Man United - Save 3

This save earned us the draw and an invaluable point away from home. This was in the injury time and it would've been a proper heartbreaker from Rashford.

Mendy literally does not see this till the end and makes an unbelievable save!
