So are we really clinging to the hope that they're not going to pitch as many mail in ballots as possible on technicalities, aren't going to obstruct the election day counts and fight them in a stacked Supreme Court, and don't already have a police response in place? Cool.

All the people out there talking about retribution for the SCOTUS nomination are going to have a big surprise when they find out exactly why it was so urgent to the GOP and why they're celebrating now. They're celebrating because they're going to take the election with it.

Does anyone really think after everything they've done so far that letting the public decide is their plan? Just to shrink off into the night to wait to be called out for their crimes? They're going to pull out all the stops and laugh because we don't have a Plan B after that.

Things are going to change really fast after that. I don't know what your worst case scenario plan is - I don't even know my own TBH - but you should have one if you plan on sticking around after that because the entire pretense of democracy is going to evaporate in a month.

The biggest problem that any person of integrity has is that they can't see all the avenues open to someone who doesn't. They rely on things like faith in people, belief in justice, and hope, which are worthless against reality. Reality doesn't care and it changes fast.

We have to vote like we've never voted before and work out out Plan B, even though it's pretty much too late. Any historian can tell you, the way things are changes on a dime - or on a fascist. We can't even imagine what's on the other side because we've seen nothing like it.
