i'm a bit down, so uh like this post and i'll tweet an AA headcanon of mine with some being oddly specific.

Phoenix and Larry are the artsy kids, while i see Phoenix more skilled in acting being a theater kid, he's a good artist too since he's a mangaka assistant.

so i like to see Larry indulges in a more experimental art while Phoenix stick with smth simple like anime styled art hh.

Phoenix's distant relative is a rancher. he, Miles, and Larry went to stay in the farms for a few days during summer break.

Edgeworth is from US, he learns mid-atlantic accent on his own accord to give the impression he's poised. probably from a movie he watched or smth.

he's definitely not british but he wishes he was.

3 days before DL-6, on christmas night, Phoenix and Larry came to visit Edgeworth's household and they had a pleasant little party, one of the warmest nights the little family ever had.

DL-6 happened and the scenario is similar to the anime, but instead of rain, its snowing.

Miles is good at every school subjects BUT arts and crafts, also he hates vegetables when he's 9 but grown to appreciate it growing up.

9 yr old Miles's a loner, probably that kid in class you thought was intimidating or arrogant when in reality he's just bad at socializing, especially since literally no other kids care about his interest BUT one kid he saved.

his first friend's Phoenix (and Larry to an extend)

Maya is pan, she likes anyone she deems charming.

18 years old Pearl is still deemed a romantic especially since she indulges in literature, though she sees it in a more realistic light.

she likes being ironic at it too just to tease some ppl.

there are a few times when Phoenix, Maya, and Pearl stays in the office overnight to solve a case.
while Maya fell asleep with Pearl on the couch, Phoenix stays up all night.

Sleep-deprived Phoenix would still make eggs and toast breakfast for Maya and Pearl in the morning

Feenie definitely did not get laid when he's dating Dahlia nor even before that lmao. he doesn't even know girls poop.

Bratworth was too in my view, he'd be disgusted by the idea bc he's just that full of himself, probably says its disgraceful and "simple minded" or smth lol.

^ and he'd say that just bc he was probably made fun for being a nerd or smth hh. he's a young prosecutor at the time after all he's still a bit immature but the ego is still there.

basically "while you're out there being sexually active like some animal, i studied the law"

i stick with Edgeworth naming having his current pet dog named "Pess", "Missile" the pomeranian has lived a long life and after he heard about Edgeworth's old pet dog a bit, Gumshoe nickname the police K-9 "Missile" too as a tribute.

bc he definitely would do that.

Edgeworth's current dog is Pess, a yellow borzoi

Phoenix had an emo phase and used to collect band merch, usually in form of T-shirt and posters but doesn't limit to it,

he wears it under his work shirt sometimes and he sometimes use them as pajamas.

despite having stubbles, Phoenix can't grow a full beard.

Edgeworth can't at all due to gene pool. (his father doesn't have facial hair after all)

there are many moments among the years post AA1 where Phoenix would physically reach out to Edgeworth for a bit but then hesitates.

and vice versa, though Edgeworth gives long glances more than actively wanting to reach out and looks away when the other notices.

i see the default country as USA, as odd as it may be (Kurain village's existence is weirdly placed lol)

Japanifornia's a good and somewhat fitting gag name, like San Fransokyo from BH6, but i can't come up with other states' names? especially since in-game canon its Los Angeles

Athena is taller than Apollo, a bit shorter than Phoenix.

i want the WAA to form a staircase-

i always hc Athena as mixed race, euroasian maybe idk hh thus explains the height

also its to somewhat contrast with Simon who's entirely Japanese. i want their aesthetics and even to their genes clashing, like total opposites hh.

to further elaborate on the aesthetics part, since Simon's aesthetic based on samurai and traditional japanese culture with monochrome colors.

Athena's aesthetic'd be based on a modern aesthetic, something retro western with a touch of european with very bright yellow color.

Pearl is only an inch shorter than Trucy

18 yr old Pearl being more accepting is because in her early teens she has tried dating before and its not as beautiful as she fantasized it to be hh.

this experience gave Pearl a new perspective in relationships and romance in general.

18 year old Pearl isn't as violent as she used to be 10 years ago, she's more in control of her temper and would resort in cynical comments if irritated.

tho that doesn't mean she can't nor won't.
she can break some bones if necessary.

due to him going back and forth from US to Germany, Edgeworth doesn't have a house in US but he lives in an apartment.

Edgeworth's wealth came from not only his own work results but also MvK's years of savings.

Franziska has access to this too but she would insist on using her own earned pay instead of her late father's.

Edgeworth uses MvK's savings to spite him from above the graves hhh.

Miles left post DL-6 at 28th of December.

which means he, along with Phoenix (+ Larry) has hung out long enough to last an impact and their friendship has depth more than a mere class trial.

thus explain Phoenix's undying ambition towards Miles when he saw him on the newspaper.

Miles only went trick-or-treating twice

first was when he's younger with Gregory at his side hoping he can make some friends with the neighborhood's kids (Miles was too shy so it didn't work)

the last was when he befriends Phoenix and Larry, he went trick-or-treating with them.

ofc Miles dresses as his father, Gregory, for halloween.

Larry poke fun at this for a bit bc Miles was being such a nerd even during halloween and got Miles a bit flustered but Phoenix assured him he looks cool in it.

during summer break Phoenix, Miles, and Larry would have a sleepover at each other's houses.

Phoenix's parents are still around but lives in a different further state, he doesn't cut ties with them but he's independent enough to not rely on them.

he visits them at least once a year when he has the time.

Phoenix's hair is naturally spiky, post childhood he uses hair gel to straighten and sharpen them.

though gravity still would affects it if its damp enough.

during childhood Larry tend to be the one who starts trouble and Phoenix is dragged into his shenanigans.

bc of this there are times when Phoenix slip up and got injured, Miles would scold Larry for it and would only tend to Phoenix if both of them were hurt. (lol)

post Dahlia's arrest (and break up of course), Phoenix stopped wearing the pink sweater and won't even look at it bc it brings him horrible memories.

(i'm discarding the anime entirely, its obvious they make him wear it just for poor foreshadowing lol)

this horrible memories about Dahlia tend to bring him nightmares too, especially post bridge to turnabout.

there are times he has nightmares about the poison and what-if scenarios. how he survived out of sheer luck.

Edgeworth would calm him down during these nights. vice versa.

on his free time with nothing to do and his bathroom cleaned for the 3rd time, Phoenix would just..

Sleep

Phoenix still has his old NES in his apartment, he replays FF and DQ sometimes when he's bored enough.

he also has other games like castlevania and loz. theres mario there too i guess.

post-college and during his law career, Phoenix carries a habit to draw in his notes when he's bored tho he sticks with just drawing quick doodles

Phoenix refuse to show anyone his drawings, be it old nor new sketchbook, this includes Edgeworth.

but this doesn't stop Maya from pestering around and show it around sometimes, which would embarrass him.

Phoenix wrote the letters to Miles on any form of paper he had at hand.

be it his sketchbook paper, scraps of paper, and maybe a leaf idk hh anything he can write it on bc he wrote the letters absentmindedly sometimes. during class or outside etc, whenever inspiration strikes.

but he'd use the same envelope to seal it, each with Samurai franchise stamps on it.

halloween 2001, when he went trick or treating with Phoenix and Larry, is when Miles first discovered that he's a sweet tooth.

despite this he likes his tea with moderate or less sweetness, tho he likes it when its accompanied with cake nor other sweets to balance it.

Larry is good at bug catching, he's pretty much the one with lots of childhood experience compared to Phoenix and Miles, being one of those lousy neighborhood kids.

he probably stole pear from someone's pear tree nor be the one who break the neighbor's window lol.

before trials, Miles would eat lemon mint candy thus his "lemon-scented sighs".

he'd offer them to Phoenix too, Phoenix would accept sometimes, he prefers eating coffee candy to keep himself awake.

(this idea is inspired from my parents hhh, this is their habit before work)

Maya has a social media account, which is the official Wright Co Law office social media account and its all just memes and embarrassing photos of Phoenix taken without his consent.

she finds surreal memes funny, being a gen Z and all.

Edgeworth follows the Wright Co Law Office/WAA social media account and would like nor share every posts. notif is on and everything.

if theres photos of Phoenix Wright on Edgeworth's phone, its most likely bc he saved the embarrassing photos Maya shared on that official Wright Co Law Office social media account.

post AA3, Iris is arrested for her being involved with her twin's premeditated killings

she's serving 15-20 years for being completely aware of participating in first degree murder but with a chance of parole

the sentence is lightened a bit thanks to Phoenix being her lawyer
