Here’s the thing: the only way to get norms back at this point is to destroy the GOP.

Because, what, the Democrats bow to norms (please no) again if they win everything, and then what? 2, 4, 8, years from now the next Mitch just blows everything to pieces again.

Expand the courts. Add states. Treat voting the way they treat gun ownership.

This kills the GOP, because they don’t have a majority. Even in the states they win, they don’t have a majority.

Either the Democrats keep letting Lucy pull the football away, and every time it happens we lose more fundamental rights, or we say fuck this shit and actually enfranchise enough people that the GOP fucking goes away.

The reason this is unlikely to happen is that a lotta people with “safe” seats right now will stop being quite so safe when it’s safe to come at them from the left instead of the right.

But JFC motherfuckers. You have to do something.
