Then you hear 1000 more times that it's impossible to build affordable housing bc of financing so we have to build these projects as they are but eventually the luxury housing will filter down (which won't actually happen unless we freeze rents + build 500k units overnight*)

*Which will never happen bc it's not in the interest of housing markets producing maximum profit lol.

And in the meantime while communities displaced, we have to fight every damn day for tenant protections which are, of course, unreasonable.
