Over the next few days we will hear from a large amount of Democratic elected officials saying they don't think they support expanding the courts and they'd rather allow decades of continued suffering of their own constituents in order to uphold tradition and not rock the boat.
It's that difference, that lack of leadership and that inability to be cutthroat and unpopular in the eyes of the opposition that got us exactly here.
They need to shake shit up so much that it's nearly impossible for Republicans to undo it when they have power again. You know, like Republicans do when they're in power. Like they just did with confirmation.
Packing the court takes guts. It'd be governing. It'd be action. Those things would mean that Dem constituents might start to actually expect them to *do* something that materially changes their lives, which isn't something the party has shown much interest in doing.
