Our lives.
When the #ACA is overturned, my boys will either lose or will be unable to afford their health care.
We& #39;ve been here before, so I& #39;m speaking from experience.
Let me explain each:
Nutrition.
When I fought to save the ACA, I often said parents have to decide between picking up a gallon of milk or their child& #39;s medicine.
I realize I shouldn& #39;t have said that.
It was never a choice.
You always pick the meds.
So you go without milk.

Transportation.
When you live in a rural area w/ no public transportation & you& #39;re over an hour from the nearest hospital equipped to handle your/your child& #39;s care, you need a car.
If you spend every penny on medical bills, there& #39;s nothing left for gas & upkeep of a vehicle.

Housing.
When your/your child& #39;s meds aren& #39;t covered and they cost the same amount as your mortgage... you risk homeless with every pharmacy visit.

Education.
My kids don& #39;t have a college fund.
They& #39;ll take student loans like we did, and they& #39;ll have to pay them for 30 years like we are.
But if they can& #39;t stay on our insurance, they won& #39;t be able to afford student loans & their health care.
That means no college.

Well being.
The constant worry over how to afford care is detrimental to one& #39;s well being. Sleepless nights, a poor diet, and overwhelming stress wreaks havoc on your mental health.
And, of course, you won& #39;t be able to afford any kind of treatment.

Our lives.
As a disabled/chronically ill mother of chronically ill/disabled children, my biggest fear is that I will die early.
I will always choose them and make sure they get the care they need over my own needs - no matter how old they are, even if it costs me my own life.

We tried telling them #WhatsAtStake.
We tried to get the @gop to understand.
They ignored us.
Now they& #39;ve rushed through a #SupremeCourtConfirmation with the intention of taking away our health care protections.
They take our health care.
Let& #39;s take theirs.
