(1/?) #inclustwt There's something we've noticed about reactionaries that we wanted to write down before we forget.

During some arguments with sysmeds, we've had to repeatedly explain that endogenic systems themselves are NOT a movement. We've been thinking about why they would-
-think of the mere existence of non-traumagenic systems as a movement. And that's when it clicked. Not the why of this way of thinking, that's still unclear, but rather the fact that this way of thinking is a core part of reactionism as an ideology. We once had a BLERF tell us-
-that they don't support the bi/pan lesbian MOVEMENT. Also notice the way that sysmeds talk about non-traumagenic systems. They claim that non-traumagenic and non-disordered systems are an anti-DID+OSDD movement. Look at how TERFs talk about "TRAs" and "trans ideology" as well,
how they tend to refer to all trans people as such. Then there's how anti-semites talk about Jewish people. They claim that Jews are a political movement with various goals and ulterior motives designed to "oppress" the majority population. They aren't opposed to any sort of-
-ideology, they aren't even opposed to movements pushing for rights for these groups, at least not at the root of their opposition. They act as if the mere existence of these minority groups are political movements with goals and corrupt motives and oppose them as such. Now,
whether they actually believe that the mere existence of these groups are movements or they just act as if they are for the purposes of propaganda is unclear and likely depends on the individual, but ultimately the distinction doesn't matter, they're functionally the same. They-
-don't act as if these groups are people with differing experiences from them, they act as if they are a political movement trying to game the system for their own gain or the gain of others at the expense of the those who currently benefit from the system, at least-
comparatively. This way of thinking seems to map cleanly onto most, if not all reactionaries and when you view their rhetoric and beliefs through this lens, as well as other lenses presented in Innuendo Studios' series "The Alt-Right Playbook", their ideologies start to make a-
-lot more sense. Keeping all of this in mind will allow you to navigate interactions with such reactionaries much more effectively.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that no matter how insightful all of this is, it's simply our opinion. Feel free to critique and add on to-
-it. We'd love to see what you all come up with. ~Charlie
