here is my first album review and I’m starting with “Beerbongs and Bentley’s” It’ll be a track by track review thread...

track one “paranoid”

I think this a strong opener to set the tone for the album and not really talked about enough on the whole as he talks about a real life situation referring to fans actually turning up to his house and how he wants peace from his fame

track two “spoil my night”

a club/party track it’s fun and does what it needs to has a good vibes all around swae Lee showed up well for the hook and post certainly delivers on his verse “I ain’t even seen her face but she got beautiful boobies

track three “rich & sad”

rich & said is in my personal top three favourite on the album post really does what he does best and that’s catchy hooks whilst also speaking about how money doesn’t mean happiness, an underrated post malone song in general imo

track four “zack and codeline”

while I don’t love this song I don’t hate it either I don’t really go back to the song as for it doesn’t do anything for me personally, post is known for catchy hooks and it was but a little overdone and too repetitive imo

track five “takin shots”

another turn up/party song I think it’s decent for what it is real fun vibe around it and the use of the gun adlib on the hook was funny

track six” “rockstar”

I mean everyone knows this song by now it being the biggest hit from the album and one his biggest songs in general, I think post again delivered on the hook making it stick in your head, 21 savage was also very strong an all good feature from him

track seven “over now”

I think this is such an looked song as it has the dark vibes but yet maintained the powerful hook I although think his voice really shines through on the song, it deserves more appreciation on the whole

track eight “psycho”

I mean there isn’t much to say about this song other than exactly what it is and that’s an instant hit, it was very catchy and memorable and ty dolla also worked really well on this and gave a strong feature

track nine “better now”

while some people love this song and I understand why given how catchy and uplifting it is for me personally the hook becomes too overpowering and repetitive for my liking, I was always going to be unbiased

track 10 “ball for me”

yet another feel good/turn up song I didn’t realise how many there was until actually reviewing it but this song just doesn’t do anything for me and is pretty annoying and I don’t really go back to it

track eleven “otherside”

again another overlook post malone song in general I feel and it’s good cool down from the party songs this represents dark post really well whilst also again keeping it catchy with the hook

track twelve “stay”

“stay” I believe should’ve been the promoted single it’s demonstrates posty ability to actually sing and play the guitar and also gives me “feeling Whitney” vibes from stoney definitely one of the stronger songs on the album

track thirteen “blame it on me”

here we have raw post with dark undertones again and I believe it’s one of the stronger songs on the album again demonstrates his ability to sing I feel like we need more songs from him like this

track fourteen “same bitches”

well what can I say a very enjoyable song definitely one of the strongest songs on album, no fuck THIS it’s WOEFUL, generic bragging rap song G eazy and YG had no business on this song and it had no place on the album, post was also off on the hook

track 15 “jonestown” (interlude)

well it’s a interlude I’ve never cared much for them really they’re just used to fill albums, if I had to say anything it, it’s similar to “broken whiskey glass” from stoney I’ll take it or leave it though really

track 16 “92 explorer”

for me personally it’s in my top three on the album, VERY catchy and all around vibe it could’ve easily been a massive hit if promoted as single given how the hook stays stuck in your head (I’ve also added an extra picture of posts explorer)

track seventeen “candy paint”

candy paint was already a hit before the album was ever released and a theme of this thread has been how post excells at catchy hook this again it’s a fine example great replay value and addictive to sing an all around enjoyable song

track 18 “sugar wraith”

sugar wraith is enjoyable to listen and my personal favourite on the entire album I feel like I’m on long drive at night even though I can’t drive
