Doesn't *enter professional hockey org here* realize that BIPOC and LGBT fans, women, nonwhite folks, are TIRED and SICK and holding onto our love of hockey by a thread? Keep your scraps. If you don't want our money and patronage, fucking say it with your whole chest!

I'm upset.

Mostly I'm upset for y'all. Hearts are breaking because shit like this keeps happening and I see my fellow BIPOC fans walking away from this amazing sport because the culture is toxic and, the fucked up thing is, I get it. I'm in too deep, but I get it.

And to that, I say do what is healthy for your mind, body and soul...but also, we can't let these racists have something so cool as hockey!! Personally, I enjoy fucking up a racist's day by being Black and fabulous.

What is the point of a committees and pledges if the skill level of racists/misogynists/homophobes on the ice is more important than how they treat another human being? Why would marginalized folks want to be associated with any organized sport that operates that way?
