Why we shouldn& #39;t assume the sexuality of idols ; a thread.
Might lose followers for this, but saying we shouldn& #39;t assume someone& #39;s sexuality, is such a valid point.. Which i& #39;ll be explaining in this thread!

- As much as I& #39;d want my faves to identify as the same sexuality as me, i don& #39;t think that& #39;s a reason for us to outright assume.
These idols have their own personal sexualities and we don& #39;t know what they& #39;re like in their personal lives. By basically just "giving" an idol a sexuality you are also putting a label on them that may be wrong. Only THEY themselves have the right to decide their sexuality.
However, I& #39;m not saying it& #39;s okay to assume they& #39;re straight either, cause that& #39;d still be putting a label on them.. The only thing we are doing by saying things like
"[ x idol] is [sexuality]" is mislabeling them and also potentially confusing them.
We do not know how they are in their personal journies within their sexuality / self discovery. These idols are not meant for us to mold in a way we want.. and assuming their sexuality CAN potentially confuse them.
If there is anything else, please feel free to lmk cause I am always trying to learn. Thank you for listening~

And also, if you identify within the LGBTQ+ community, don& #39;t forget that there is a whole community here who loves you and supports you to a 100%. You are SO valid!!
Ah, let me just add a personal opinion..

To me, it& #39;s more than enough knowing that they support the LGBTQ+ community, that makes me soo so happy ^^ Their sexuality doesn& #39;t matter whatsoever!
I feel like some people haven& #39;t read this thread entirely.. I also mentioned that it& #39;s not okay to assume they& #39;re straight!
