ppl who only blame mori or dazai for being abusive are fucking annoying. first of all it is a cycle of abuse.
mori was probably abused, he then abused dazai who abused akutagawa who abused kyouka. they’ve all been thought to abuse and because of the toxic environment +

(the PM) they weren’t able to break out of it (except for kyouka ofc) you cannot just say oh mori bad dazai good LIKE NO ??? theyre all abusers whos actions shouldnt be excused but theyre also victims at the same time.

missed that point of the show and their backstories. not to mention completely reducing their characters

in conclusion,
they’re all both abusers and victims who’s actions should be acknowledged and not excused, no matter how much you like the character
