Basically Steve gets his powers first, he probably doesn’t live with his mom and dad but it isn’t the typical poor Spider-Man situation, him being a rich bitch is like integral to his character development

So this is actually set in New York, and They Meet in highschool when billy rolls in from Cali, they have their rivalry on who gets to rule the school and yeah they really don’t like each other

Steve gets his powers during high school and kinda has a head start on dealing with them and how to use them, he isn’t like a computer genius but his hero complex and terrific work under pressure makes him a decent spidey

He stops being an asshole in school after having his butt kicked as spidey and sees that highschool is a bunch of bullshit fake shit and he doesn’t pay attention to billy anymore and billy is railed up about it

End of senior year billy wants to fuck off and Steve is actually interested in photography and he can afford school but still takes a job in journalism for the experience, so billy tries to fuck off but he needs money so

He gets an apartment working odd jobs and just busting his ass all while his dad is still a bitch about him not going to college besides being good at sports but it’s just not what billy wants

And billy doesn’t know what he wants, until he gets basically start of s3-ish captured by a symbiote who turns out to be the perfect match for him and like I like venom but slayer would be a much cooler name for him

And billy is so not into this like at all he doesn’t like sharing his space and his body with an eldritch esque alien but he’s stuck with it now...and Billy’s explosive attitude met gasoline with slayer so now he’s just committing gay crimes

Still doesn’t kill innocent people, that’s not how he rolls but it doesn’t take much for him and slayer to look eye to eye and this new weird guy is making Steve’s life hell like someone once did in highschool

They have this big fucking fight and there’s like fire and explosions and a lot of bickering between them and it feels like a song and dance...until Steve’s gets thrown off his feet and his mask is kinda ripped a little and billy would recognize those eyes anywhere

Slayer is all like ??? Uhhh bruh ??? We about to eat why u hesitating and Billy’s like uh No We’re Not Doing This and just knocks Steve out before leaving the scene
