At the age of 18, after only one senior training camp, Phillip was selected as part of the 1995 @FIFAWWC squad.

She made her full debut in 1996, in a 2-0 win over Croatia in Osijek.
Phillip made history in 2003, becoming the first Black woman to captain the team.

In 2006, Phillip led England to @FIFAWWC qualification in France, booking their ticket to 🇨🇳.
Phillip went on to gain 65 caps for England and retired in 2008.

She continues to make history as head coach of @PeckhamTownFC, winning the 19/20 London FA Trophy in August, becoming the first female manager of a men’s team in English football to win a cup.
