My company has been directly securing bulk PPE for States, Cities, Hospitals, Dentists, Doctors, Nursing Homes, First Responders, Tribes, Homeless shelters.
What have we learned and seen in the last few months?
Why did I start a Gofundme > PPE? 1>

The federal government did basically nothing to help States. In fact created a war between the States to bid on scarce PPE. This is after USG allowed tons and tons of PPE to be sold/donated to other countries in Jan/Feb/March.

Also, there is ongoing raw material shortage. 2. >

Our initial efforts included China and other countries, and we have since shifted to a large percent of PPE now coming from USA.

This is private public partnering at its best. Crisis mode, getting actual results. 3.>

Humbly, we have helped medical offices get open after lockdown because we got them the PPE they needed. We helped dozens of medical groups see patients because now they have actual N95 masks.
We have helped first responders get gloves, face shields, when they could not. 4. >

We want to help, but I have to ask why? Why is one of the most powerful nations on Earth, with money to spare, not acting the same way nations with far less money and power to control the spread?
Why no national mask mandate?
Why did FEMA STOP paying for PPE in September? 5.>

We should all be asking why --
Why is there still massive shortage of PPE?
Why are USA made certified N95 masks still basically impossible to get *EVEN* for medical first responders?
Why has the USG basically abandoned the States, and shifting costs to local budgets? Why? 6. >

Some of you are aware I started a @gofundme to support USA made N95 masks to Hawaii + Alaska Dentists, Doctors. Many of you have asked why? Simple. Able to get masks delivered to us, but these 2 States are not.

But ask yourselves this. Why does a small company have to tackle such a large, important issue? Why in the world would these 2 States be cut off from N95 shipments? Because NO USA N95 company will ship to Hawaii or Alaska directly. It is a travesty.

Also - Could care less about 2 whole States, ignoring the #ppeshortage throughout the US, letting nursing homes rot, letting Doctors and Dentists have to scrape for whatever protection they can get, and then have to re-use it. 9.>

Back in March, we started asking professionals what was needed immediately. Guess what? 8 months later, not a lot has changed. 10.>

We are now able to bring #PPE to wherever it is needed in the USA.
But my company is not the Government. It is small cyber security company, + I just happen to have the right connections to secure what is needed.

But ask yourself why?
Why are we as a nation sick and broken?
