she tells eren to survive in order to fight, making sure he eats, doesn’t starve and gets the energy that he needs
she doesn’t tolerate eren’s misconducts. she was the first to confront him every time he makes reckless actions and gets into a fight
she gives him encouragement and makes him believe in his own abilities
every time eren doubts himself or is in a tight situation, she was there to clear his mind and remind him of what he is capable of
her presence gives him assurance and confidence
her simple wish was just to be beside him and never asked for anything more
above all, mikasa was willing to share his burdens and carry all the pain with him
